Customized Simulations for Military and other applications

On Target Simulations offers customization of its off-the-shelf wargame engine for professional and military purposes.

Flashpoint Campaigns are games of modern grand tactical combat, with players in charge of formulating and managing the battle plan for their forces.

Game play is asynchronous WEGO.

Players issue orders during their specific orders phase and then the game resolves all actions until a new orders phase occurs.

Forces are organized into individual manoeuvre units (game counters) of companies, platoons, or sections. They can be made up of mixed elements (vehicles and infantry).

Customization can occur at many different levels, to meet our clients' individual needs.

AWARDS AND ACCOLADES

from the wargaming community

Flashpoint Campaigns: Red Storm was awarded The Wargamer's coveted PC Game of the Year designation the year of its publication.

PC Game of the Year2014, The Wargamer

When PC Gamer listed its 20 best wargames of all times, Flashpoint Campaigns: Red Storm was among the best of the best.

Best 20 Wargames of All TimesMarch 2015, PC Gamer

"This approach to understanding modern conflict was both instructional and entertaining. The use of a commercial, off-the-shelf platform, when combined with a well-structured competition, provided a useful model for participants to develop their professional abilities and understanding of modern conflict. The adversarial nature of the game, along with the free-play aspect of each scenario, provided an engaging environment at low-cost in time, money, and manpower."

Major Cole PetersonPaxSims

"I truly feel Flashpoint Campaigns: Red Storm will go down in wargame history as
a classic of its time. I have no hesitation recommending it to all wargamers."

Jason RimmerA Wargamer's Needful Things

"If you like turn-bases, hex-based games, you need to get this. If you like realistic depiction of modern combat, you need to get this. If you like the late Cold War era strategy games, you need to get this.

A solid 9/10. The best hex-based strategy ever created."

M. Maruda

"...this (is) one of the most innovative war game designs in recent times. The fidelity of tactical combat, the flexibility and
easiness of access to the capabilities of the game engine alone are worth the price of admission. The turn resolution
mechanics, so original and meaningful for a wholesome command & control experience, will definitively be noticed by hobbyist
wargamers and war simulation professionals alike."
